TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: Indianapolis / Toronto, ON
Arrive in Toronto the cultural, entertainment and financial capital of Canada and transfer to your hotel. Meet your tour director and fellow travelers at a welcome dinner at the hotel. Our downtown hotel is located within walking distance to the theatre district if you want to take in an optional live theatre performance this evening. A detailed list of the shows will be provided so you can pre book prior to arrival in Toronto – Delta Chelsea or similar. (D)

Day 2: Toronto, ON
Experience the sights, sounds and history of Toronto on a guided city tour including City Hall, Chinatown and Rogers Centre. A highlight of your tour is sure to be Canada’s famous medieval castle Casa Loma, situated in the heart of mid-town. Complete your day with a ride to the top of the CN Tower. With 4 lookout levels the view of Toronto just gets better the higher you go – Delta Chelsea or similar. (B)

Day 3: Niagara Falls, ON
Travel this morning around Lake Ontario to Niagara Falls with a stop along the way at beautiful Niagara on the Lake, also known as the Prettiest Town in Canada. Arrive in Niagara Falls and explore the Niagara Parks, Commission Greenhouse, the Whirlpool and the Floral Clock. Enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking Niagara Falls and then don a raincoat and board the “Maid of the Mist” Cruise to get a close up view of these gigantic falls – Americana Conference Resort or similar. Day 4: Kingston, ON
Follow Lake Ontario and arrive in Kingston, renowned as the fresh sailing capital of North America. The 1000 Islands start in Kingston and dot the St. Lawrence River for miles. Cruise into the small cottage islands of the Admiralty group featuring Napoleon's Hat, Wanderer's Channel, the Bateau Channel, Mandalay Mansion and the historic sights of Kingston. Following your cruise enjoy leisure time on the boardwalk or take an optional trolley tour – Ambassador Hotel or similar.

Day 5: Ottawa, ON
Drive a short distance to Ottawa and upon arrival in the Nation’s Capital, a local guide will be on hand to provide an afternoon of sightseeing including a visit to the Parliament Buildings, Rideau Hall, Rideau Canal, Notre Dame Cathedral and much more. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the Byward Market. Within an area of foursquare blocks find museums, cafés, specialty food shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants. This evening attend an optional performance at the National Arts Centre – Canada’s premiere center for the performing arts – Lord Elgin or similar. Hotel.

Day 6: Montreal (Via Rail), QC
This morning before departing Ottawa visit the National Gallery of Canada, a visual Arts Museum of International Stature. “All Aboard” shouts the conductor as we board our Via Rail Train en route to Montreal. This afternoon enjoy a city tour of this dual English and French Cultural City showcasing the French Quarter, Old Montreal, Notre Dame Cathedral, St. Joseph’s Oratory and beautiful views from the top of Mount Royal. After the tour you will have free time for underground shopping. This evening, there will be dinner and entertainment at the Festin du Gouverneur, a fun-filled recreation of the original feasts in the old colonies of New France – Holiday Inn Centerville or similar. Day 7: Quebec City, QC
We travel the beautiful Quebec countryside following the north shore of the St. Lawrence River to Canada’s oldest city, Quebec City. Our hotel is located in Old Quebec so upon arrival meander down the narrow streets filled with delightful boutiques and cafes. It’s easy to imagine that somehow you've arrived in France without having taken a plane or boat to get there – Hotel Manoir or similar.

Day 8: Quebec City
Discover Quebec City on a guided tour including the Parliament Building, the Citadel, Place d’Armes, the Plains of Abraham and other historic sites within the city. This afternoon travel north to the historic site of Montmorency Falls that has a spectacular lookout point over the St. Lawrence River and the Capital. A special treat tonight is a traditional “French” farewell dinner at an authentic Sugar Shack – Hotel Manoir or similar. (B,D)

Day 9: Quebec City / Indianapolis
Transfer to the International Airport for your return flight home. (B)
