Let the Niagara Falls-to-Toronto VIA Train take you to one of the world's most diverse and Canada's largest city, Toronto. Situated on Lake Ontario, this vibrant city boasts of and is proud of its diverse multicultural background. Drink in the cosmopolitan atmosphere as you tour the downtown area, from the very visible CN Tower to the Harbour Front, Eaton Center and the historic Distillery District filled with an eclectic assortment of shops, pubs and sidewalk cafes. Return in the evening VIA Rail to Niagara Falls.

The next day you cross into the USA, and view Niagara Falls from the American side as you proceed to Buffalo, where many historic sites await you. Visit the house where Teddy Roosevelt was inaugurated as president, and enjoy one of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural wonders as you tour the Darwin D. Martin House. And for a taste of history, you will visit the world famous Anchor Bar, home of original Buffalo-style chicken wings.

TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: Indianapolis / Buffalo, NY / Niagara Falls, ON
Fly into Bullalo, NY. From there you travel to Niagara Falls, ON for check into your hotel, Radisson Fallsview or similar

Day 2: Niagara Falls, ON
Tour along the Niagara River Parkway, once referred to by Winston Churchill as "the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world". The rock faces of the Niagara Gorge with its dramatic vistas and monuments chronicling the War of 1812 are met with gently rolling fields of lush vineyards and orchards. Late morning we browse Niagara-on-the-Lake, nicknamed the loveliest town in Canada. Later we visit the Laura Secord Homestead, heroine of the War of 1812, where costumed interpreters thrill you with tales of her adventure followed by guided tour of Niagara Botanical Gardens. Day 3: Niagara Falls, ON
We have an all day pass including admission to Journey Behind the Falls (tunnels that pass behind and in front of the Horseshoe Falls which has 90% of the water flow), Maid of the Mist (ride into the mist as water rushes all around as you "soak" in the excitement and explore the roar of the falls), White Water Walk (see some of the wildest rapids in the entire world, experience the power of the mighty Niagara River), Fury (newest animation) plus all day transportation on the People Mover (hop-on/hop-off bus & Falls incline railway to the Fallsview Casino) letting you come and go at your own pace. Dinner overlooking the Falls, followed by viewing illumination beginning at dusk as the Falls are lit in the colours of the rainbow. Radisson Fallsview or similar (B, D)

Day 4: Niagara Falls, ON / Toronto VIA Rail
Early morning departure on VIA rail to Toronto this morning to visit the CN Tower, formerly the world's tallest structure at 553 metres, taking in views of the Toronto Skyline and distances as far as 100 miles away. Afterwards sightseeing tour of downtown Toronto, the most cosmopolitan city in the world with time to take in some areas such as Harbour Front, Eaton Centre and Distillery District. Evening return on VIA rail to our Niagara Falls hotel. Radisson Fallsview or similar (B, L)

Day 5: Niagara Falls, ON / Buffalo, NY
Cross into the USA, viewing Niagara Falls from the American side before proceeding to Buffalo where we visit the house were Teddy Roosevelt was sworn in as President, see some of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture including the Darwin D. Martin House and of course visit to world famous Anchor Bar, home of original Buffalo-style chicken wings. Overnight in Buffalo, NY, hotel similar to Radisson (B L)

Day 6: Buffalo, NY / Indianapolis, IN
Depart Niagara to proceed with your onward journey flight this afternoon. (B)
