Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod in the Fall |

Day 1: Providence, RI – Hyannis, MA Welcome to the sandy shores of Cape Cod! You will be met and transferred to the Holiday Inn, Hyannis, MA , your home for four nights where you will meet your fellow travelers at a welcome reception. Enjoy the indoor pool at your hotel. Later, enjoy your included dinner. (Welcome Reception, D) Day 2: Nantucket Your guide will meet you and escort you to the Hy-Line Docks where you will board a vessel for a cruise to the stunning island of Nantucket, a destination of natural beauty and rich history. A relatively small island, Nantucket is 3 ½ by 14 miles and 30 miles out to sea. Upon arrival your guide will point out the restaurants, galleries, shops and museums that are within walking distance of the dock area for your time on your own. You will also enjoy a Nantucket Island Tour. Lunch and shopping are on your own. Later in the afternoon board your vessel for your return. This evening, enjoy dinner with entertainment. (B, D) Day 3: Cape Cod Meet your local guide at the hotel for a full day of exploring Cape Cod beginning in the Cape’s “hub” – Hyannis. You will stop at the Kennedy Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial, drive along Main Street and through the village of Hyannis Port and view St. Francis Xavier Church. We then travel along scenic Route 6A driving through colonial villages filled with wonderful examples of New England architecture. You will stop at the Eastham Windmill, view a Cape Cod Lighthouse and drive through the Cape Cod National Seashore area. Sand dunes and the ocean will surround you as you approach your final destination – Provincetown. “P-town” is a wonderful village that has a rich history combining a love of the sea and the arts. Walk along the waterfront and the narrow main streets and enjoy your free time exploring the shops, galleries and restaurants that make Provincetown so unique. Dinner will be on your own at leisure tonight in Provincetown. (B) Day 4: Martha’s Vineyard Meet your guide this morning who will escort you to the Hy-Line Docks where you will board a vessel for a cruise to the “ Storybook Island ” of Martha’s Vineyard. Upon arrival you will board a local bus for a Down Island Tour. You will learn about the history and lifestyle of the islanders as you travel through the island’s villages. Lunch and shopping are on your own in the historic whaling village of Edgartown. Departure for Hyannis is at 3:45 pm, arriving at 5:30 pm. Enjoy a fresh lobster dinner tonight. (An alternate entrée is available for those not wishing to eat lobster) (B, D) Day 5: Cape Cod - Indianapolis After breakfast in tour this morning, you will check out and transfer back to the airport with many wonderful memories of your Cape Cod vacation.
