Yellowstone & Mt. Rushmore

June 16-26, 2009
9 days 8 nights

Featuring Grand Tetons & Black Hills

The Wild West lives on throughout this nine-day spectacular tour of Utah, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and Colorado. Enjoy scenic drives through the Rocky Mountains and the fertile plains of Big Sky Country. South Dakota's Black Hills provide the backdrop for Mount Rushmore, the world's greatest mountain carving featuring the faces of four exalted American presidents, which you will see both in daylight and at night - awesome!

At the Crazy Horse Memorial, you'll view the world's largest sculpture in progress and visit with Indian artisans as they showcase their arts and crafts. Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument brings to life the event, where, in 1876, the combined Sioux and Northern Cheyenne forces, led by Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, overwhelmed Custer and his cavalry in the battle we know as "Custer's Last Stand." Witness nature as it rebuilds itself amidst the varied scenic wonders of Yellowstone and travel over the Continental Divide, stopping at famous Old Faithful Lodge, and thrill to the sight of the legendary geyser.
