A day away delight!
The Frazier History Museum special exhibit: “Diana: A Celebration”
features more than 150 personal objects celebrating Diana, including
her royal wedding gown, 28 designer dresses, family heirlooms, priceless
jewels, personal mementos and rare home videos. Your visit also includes
a self-guided visit through the Frazier Museum’s permanent galleries,
which includes one of the country’s largest toy soldier collections
on public display and the Royal Armouries USA – the only location
in the world outside of Great Britain permanently displaying these
historic artifacts.
Before the exhibit, visit Louisville Stoneware, where you’ll
witness artistry in the making with a tour of one of the nation’s
oldest and most revered stoneware manufacturing firms. Experience
their unique handmade and hand-painted tableware, bakeware and collectibles
- each piece rendered timeless by no fewer than 20 skilled artisans.
Lunch included at a nearby restaurant.
